🇬🇧 THE GERMAN WAHNSINN STUDIOS SESSIONS – SESSION 3: INTERMEZZO 🎬🐒
Sometimes you go into the studio to record a song.
And sometimes you’re just trying to get the bloody sound right. 😎
“Intermezzo” actually started as nothing more than a soundcheck at The German Wahnsinn Studios – just bass, acoustic guitar, a few levels to adjust and some sounds to sort out.
Then Jan started playing.
Apparently, somewhere in his head, an American road movie had already begun: endless highways, dusty landscapes, probably a questionable gas station somewhere in the middle of nowhere… 🌵🚗
So Markus joined in on bass – and suddenly the soundcheck wasn’t really a soundcheck anymore.
No vocals. No big production. Just two instruments, a spontaneous idea and one of those little studio moments you simply keep.
And that’s how “Intermezzo” became Session 3 of our four German Wahnsinn Studios Sessions.
Sometimes the best plan is having no plan at all.
